  13.     One of our customers is having severe disconnect problems with all of
  14. his users.  The strings he's currently using with his Motorola UDS
  15. V.3400 modems are:

  17.  Modem Initialization: AT&F0&C1&D2&R9&S1&T5\N3\Q3\R0\V1%R2&W0
  18.  Modem Reset: ATE0M0V1W2S0=1S2=255
  19.  
  20.     (The modem reset is sent after each call)

  22.     Can anyone see any glaring boogers in these strings?  This person has
  23. lots of USR Sportster users, apparently with the older firmware, but
  24. he claims even two similiar modems of the same type will disconnect.
  25. I've also had him investigate with his phone company for line taps/bad
  26. wire guage, but I'd also like to clear this avenue as well.
